Gsoc’21: The Coding Journey

Coding Period (Week 1):

The community bonding period has been ended officially, and till now I am familiar with my mentors Vidhi Mody , Soham Parekh and explored a lot about this large community.

So Before getting started with the coding period updates, I would like to thank my mentors Vidhi Mody , Soham Parekh and a special shoutout to my favourite person in the community Željko Filipin, for their immense support till now😀.

The Coding Continues👨‍💻:

So as I have Updated on my previous blog that, I have already completed the Upgradation of webdriverIO for Group-A Repositories(probably containing Simple specs files). I have started working on Group-B (Advanced Repositories) and as expected errors are always there to teach you🥱.

And here is the status of successful upgradation of Group-B repositories.

Additionally I am Working simultaneously on task T283597, which adds wdio-mediawiki across all the repositories to enable video recording in tests, removing chromedriver dependency, and this also maintains code reusability as we are using the configs directly from our mediawiki core repositories.
